How to Resize an Image and Undo the Resizing
of an Image

To Resize an Image

  1. Click on the image so sizing handles (square shapes) appear in the corners and along each side.

  1. Place your cursor on one of the CORNER sizing handles until the cursor changes to a double arrow.

NOTE: Using a CORNER sizing handle rather than a SIDE sizing handle

                          maintains image’s proportions.

  1. Press and hold down the LEFT mouse button.

NOTE: The double arrow cursor changes to a cross symbol.

  1. Drag the cross symbol until the dotted lines reflect the size you want the image to be.

  1. Release the LEFT mouse button.

To Undo the Resizing of the Image

  1. Click on the image so the resizing handles appear.

NOTE: The Picture toolbar will automatically display.

  1. Click on the Reset Picture tool on the Picture toolbar and the image will automatically resize to its original size.
