How to Save an Image from a Web Page with a PC

  1. Open your browser (Netscape or Internet Explorer)

  2. Display the image on your screen that you want to save.

  3. Move your pointer on top of the image.


  1. RIGHT-click to display a menu. 

  2. Move your pointer to "Save Image As" or "Save Picture As"
    (depending on the browser you are using) and LEFT-click.

NOTE:

A “Save As” or “Save Picture” box will appear depending on the browser you are using.

 

  1. Click on the arrow next to "Save in" to display the drop-down menu.
     

     
  2. Select a location where you want to save the image (either on a 3½ disk or a Zip disk).

  3. Enter the name you want to give the image after "File name."




  4. Click on the arrow next to "Save as type" and select JPEG File (.jpg) if the image is of photographic or fine art quality. Otherwise, select GIF (*.gif).


  1. Click on the "Save" button.
