Using the Table Feature in Word to Place Images Side-by-Side
- Click on Table > Insert >
Table.

- Enter 2 for the “Number of columns,” and enter 1 for the “Number of
rows.”

- Click in
the button next to “Fixed Column Width.”
- Click on
“OK.”
- Click
inside one of the boxes (called “cells”).

- Click on Insert > Picture > From File.

- Click the
drop-down arrow next to the “Look-in” box and go to the drive and
directory where the image file is stored.

- Click on the
file name and then click on the “Insert” button.



- The image
will appear in the cell.
- Repeat
steps 5 – 8 to insert an image into the second cell.
