Lisa Andion, LSS Senior Instructional Support Manager, has 7 years experience working in higher education in Faculty Support with the last 5 directly in technology in education, web-based course management and instructional design. She is a doctoral student in the Cultural Studies program. Lisa serves as both a Learning Support Services (LSS) manager across all the different LSS units as well as the direct supervisor of the IRC staff. Susan works in the Instructional Resource Center as a Learning Technologies Analyst. She provides individual and group consulting on the effective use of technology in academic courses. With over 25 years of experience teaching with technology (approx. 20 with Mason), she has a very broad base of knowledge about resources that are available for faculty members to use in their courses. Her approach is pragmatic and her schedule is flexible to accommodate the schedules of faculty members. |

As a full-time Learning Support Services representative at the Prince William campus, Rick Reo supports a broad range of needs for faculty, staff, and student use of instructional technologies. While his specialty is to support faculty efforts to integrate teaching and technology, he conducts workshops and provides consultations to staff on Mason supported instructional technologies and other work flow tools and processes within their departments. He is a central resource for PWC for questions about campus-wide IT resources, services, and initiatives related to teaching and learning. |

As the Lab Manager/Faculty Support Specialist of the Instructional Resource Center (IRC), Jimm Ouellette supports the George Mason Communities continued efforts to integrate instructional technologies into their teaching. He specializes in supporting faculty efforts to integrate specific types of technology (both hardware and software) into their curriculum; conducts workshops and provides consultations to staff on Mason supported instructional technologies. He is the primary contact for questions regarding the IRC Innovation Hall 427 lab and resources and services his staff can provide to you and your department. |

Brooke Adams is the WebCT Administrator. She can assist you with WebCT course design and development. If you are a professor and would like to start using WebCT in your course, she can assist you with features such as course development and importing your student roaster. If you are a student, she can assist you with features such as login and navigating WebCT. Brooke earned a Masters Degree in Adult Education from East Carolina University with a focus on Instructional Technology and Distance Education.

Specialty areas include adult learning methods, ADDIE, web-based training, SMEs, needs analysis, usability testing, assessment, hybrid and blended instruction, universal design, Section 508 Compliance, multimedia and software applications. Teaching with technology and emerging technologies is a strong area of focus.
Shawn Miller serves as an Instructional Technology Trainer and the Coordinator for the Instructional Resource Center (IRC). He coordinates the Build Your Technology/ Teaching Expertise (BYTE) Week, Faculty Showcases on Using Technology to Enhance Education co-sponsored with the Center for Teaching Excellence, designs workshops, conducts usability tests and provides one-on-one technology training and instructional design consultations. Shawn has served as an Internet 2 site coordinator and is actively involved with the evolution of SCORM, educational technologies and distributed learning organizations in the DC metro area.

Katrina Joseph is a Trainer and Web Specialist. She manages several university web sites, including design, development, and maintenance. Katrina provides oversight and support for the workshop registration system. She trains faculty and staff in the development of standards-compliant web sites and the use of technology for instructional purposes. Katrina earned a B.A. in Communication, M.A. in Telecommunications, as well as graduate certificates in eLearning and project management here at George Mason. She is currently pursuing a M.Ed. in Instructional Technology.

Ying Xie is an instructional designer in the Intructional Resource Center (IRC). She offers workshops about pedagogical use of technologies, designs prototypes, consults with faculty members, and conducts educational research. Her research focus has been the use of blogs in classrooms and creating cognitive tools for students learning. Her special interest lies in building constructivists’ learning environments with new technologies. Ying Xie is a Ph.D. Candidate - ABD (All But Dissertation) in the Instructional Systems program at Penn State University.
